Wooded Hoods is looking for Interns!!!! We are an expanding Alexandria, Virginia independent record label with small artist roster, in search of two research and development interns/volunteers looking to get their feet wet in the music industry. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work with major labels, artists, and take part in meetings and events. Job duties include: Internet research, data compilation, typing and editing correspondence, social networking and promotions, brand marketing, confidential record keeping, and event planning. Qualifications we are looking for include: Professionalism and polish, creative and idea drive, marketing and promotion knowledge/experience, willingness to do "grunt-work" to help the team get the job done, entertainment industry knowledge/experience, spreadsheet and word processing software experience, ability to deliver a "go-get'em" attitude with a team player mentality. Candidates should either be currently involved in the entertainment business, in college taking classes for music business, or have experience in brand marketing. Must have a computer and Internet access. We are looking for trustworthy people who have a strong passion to learn the business, and dedication to follow-through and follow up.
